In a recent post at the official forums, Blizzard poster Enthati announced a somewhat-extended downtime for the upcoming week's scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m., PST. The upcoming server maintenance is scheduled to last a few hours longer than the usual downtime, which might suggest that the eagerly-anticipated WoW patch 3.3.2 might be dropping this week.
Patch 3.3.2 is expected to launch WoW's Arena Season 8 and unlock the final wing of the Icecrown Citadel raid encounter. While it's true that extended downtimes like this Tuesday's are sometimes indicative of minor content patches and other new material set to deploy to live servers, it's important to remember that we haven't received any official confirmation one way or the other, so far.
