Arenanet has announced that Guild Wars 2's next major update Flame & Frost is set to launch at the end of February on the 26th. Arenanet team has posted new details for the next update to the Guild Wars 2 website for the second part of the four-part story arc to Flame & Frost with The Gathering Storm.

Scheduled to release on February 26th, Flame & Frost: The Gathering Storm will continue the story that began with Prelude in January as the situation continues to worsen for the citizens of the Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau. Along with the story continuation, the update will also add the Spirit Watch sPvP map, new group guild missions, two-player team rated PvP, and selectable daily achievements.
