Hello, players. Do you have a clear idea of the Monster Power Level and Loot Drops? There is a post today which explains in a lot more detail how the bonus loot in Monster Power works. It seems that by now not all monsters are contained in the mechanic. However, if all works out well, they'll be absolutely increased along.
From the news which is originally posted by Blizzard at Blue Tracker, we learn about several information below:
As a monster dies, the primary thing we do is determine whether it's going to drop loot at all. Most monsters -- like say your everyday shambling zombies -- have a roughly 30% chance to drop loot. The accurate percentage, however, varies from monster to monster (for instance, the Tormented Stingers in Act III have a much lower opportunity since they spawn in large packs and are easy to kill).
While you kill a monster in Inferno on MP1 or higher, if you pass the initial roll to get loot, you will also obtain a second roll to get an added piece of loot. The "bonus item" chance for each MP level is detailed here. Several monsters are exempt from the bonus loot, but we tried to put it on the massive majority of normal monsters. What’s more, we are about to probably add it to more if we like how the system plays out.
Besides, just to be clear, the bonus drop applies to Normal monsters only. Monster Power will spare no effects to offer players with extra loot rolls, and Normal monsters seemed like the best place for us to add that mechanic in.
