Patch 2.7 came to the Korean test server today and it's the most exciting patch that we've had in a while. This particular patch is PvP-focused, which the community has been waiting for. While waiting for the NCWest English translation of the notes, we thought we'd share a few highlights from them. Thanks go out to Kalsteine, our translator and to Fasing, for the arena videos.
This content will focus heavily on PvP and RvR, to let other non-hardcore players enjoy the content without having to worry. The new PvP content, called the ‘3rd Temper Training Facility' will open up and inside there will be the Arena of Corruption (10v10) and Arena of Solitude (1v1).
Inside the 3rd Training Facility, there are things like using your environment in a strategic manner. You can turn the tide in a almost lost game and use gliding. These factors will all be taken in to consideration in the points system. There will also be more PvP-specific items coming out in the game.
The field raid boss, ‘Padmarashka’ will be placed in a raid instance and it will become a 48-man instance. Sematariux is being removed.
DP for some skills has been lowered from 3000 to 2000.
