Solorius starts today! Don't let the chill take your energy, though. Instead stay warm by celebrating Solorius, the traditional Atreian midwinter festival, from December 15, 2010 to January 5, 2011!

Ring in the Year of the Ribbit with a feast fit for an Empyrean Lord! Celebrants all over Atreia will be ushering in the Year of the Ribbit from Wednesday December 22nd, 2010 to Wednesday January 12th, 2011. The monsters have gotten into the banquet supplies, and it’s up to you to retrieve them. You can feast on them yourself (and, trust us—they are nutritious AND delicious), or you can trade them in to one of the event staff who are trying to put together lunch boxes to feed the needy. If you choose this path, you will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts.

In addition to a cornucopia of potions, scrolls, manastones, and medals, you will have the chance to celebrate appropriately by dressing up as a Ribbit, this year’s iconic animal, with a full set of Ribbit costume pieces.
