Unlike at higher levels where you may have many options as to what zone to level in, at the very early levels of your WoW career you will basically be confined to one specific zone that is determined based on which Horde race you have chosen to play. Leveling through these zones will be relatively quick and pain free as they tend to be danger free compared to other zones in Azeroth.
If you have already decided that you wish to max out the reputation of another city, now is the best time to start. While it will be fraught with peril, moving to a new starting zone is not impossible, especially if you have some good (preferably higher level ) friends to escort you along the way. However, keep in mind that with the new overhauls to the game, all starting zones have been filled with fresh content giving players a chance to experience new visuals, quests and lore, making completing your race’s starting zone something you don’t want to miss.
Camp Narache, Mulgore
Valley of Trials, Durotar
The Valley of Trials located in southern Durotar is where all new Orc recruits (except for Death Knights) will begin their leveling journey. Class trainers for every available Orc class can be found in and around the Den, the cave located close by to where new Orcs enter the world. Profession trainers are however, not available here. If you wish to start leveling your professions earlier the closest trainers can be found in the far north of Durotar, in the Orc metropolis of Orgrimmar.

Difficult Quest Mob Alert:
Despite the ease of this zone, be wary especially when asked to seek out and kill Sarkoth, a particularly nasty scorpid who makes his home on a plateau in the area. Once engaged Sarkoth will proceed to spit bolts of poison that will turn into deadly green pools once they make contact with the ground. Get out of these pools or dodge them entirely or you will quickly join the realm of the dead.
Darkspear Isle, Durotar
The Trolls have retaken the Echo Isles so it is here, on the largest island, the Trolls have rebuilt their home and where all newly made Trolls (except for Death Knights) will begin their adventures in Azeroth. Completing quests and leveling here will be an easy and quick process, as new Trolls are isolated from many of the dangers that can be found in the rest of Azeroth. To make the leveling process even less complicated, class trainers for every available Troll class can be found on Darkspear Isle, the largest of the Echo Isles. However, those looking to get an early start on professions will need to venture north to the Orc city of Orgrimmar.

Kezan, Isle of Kezan
The volcanic island of Kezan is the starting place for all new Goblins, except for those that choose to take the path of the Death Knight. Take advantage of the quests here as they are packed full of not only lore and experience but also fun. To help you in your leveling experience class trainers can be found spread out around KTC Headquarters (just look for the mailbox). Despite the Goblin race’s greed, you won’t be able to start leveling your professions until you leave Kezan as no profession trainers are available on the island.

Deathknell, Tirisfal Glades
The small village of Deathknell is where Undead players (except for Death Knights) begin their journey in Azeroth. Undead players will make their way quickly through this zone as most the quests are easy to find and complete as they are all centered around the little village, and mostly danger free. Class trainers are available in Deathknell for every available Undead class, however profession trainers must be sought out in the massive Forsaken city of Undercity, which lies east of the village.

Sunstrider Isle, Eversong Woods
Sunstrider Isle is a small isolated island located north west of beautiful Silvermoon City. Here new Blood Elves (except for Death Knights) will begin their WoW careers mostly hidden away from the more dangerous aspects of the world at large. It is recommended that you complete all the quests here, mostly because not only do they familiarize you with the game and Blood Elf lore, but are also easy experience. Blood Elf class trainers can be found inside the building with the mailbox in front of it, called the Sunspire. No profession trainers are available in this early zone, however, those seeking profession trainers need only make the short journey to fair Silvermoon City.
