If you live in North America you might not know that our friends and neighbors across the ocean in Europe haven't had the chance to try the free-to-play version of TheLord of the Rings Online (LotRO) yet. While we've been playing the new model for over a month in North America, Europe has still been running with the subscription model, but that's about to change. Starting on November 2nd, 2010, LotRO will be free-to-play for European players as well.
The free-to-play update will include Volume III, Book 2: The Ride of the Grey Company, the LotRO Store, the return of the Harvest Festival and more. So from North America, we welcome our European brothers and sisters to the new LotRO.
