Imminent Aion 1.9 Patch

It's been a long wait, but the 1.9 patch is slated to hit Live Servers during the weekly maintenance on Wednesday, 2nd of June.
The maintenance will begin at 4:30am PST, 11am BST
Are you ready?
The patch has been available to download in increments over the past week.
- To start your download, just open the NCSoft launcher. The download will "trickle" the download in the background whenever the launcher is open. Using this method, you should be able to continue playing Aion while it downloads.
- If you want to download the patch faster than the "trickle" method, just select 'Check for Updates' on the Aion drop down menu within the NCsoft launcher. This will launch a progress bar so you can see how much more you need to download.
- You can check whether you are ready by navigating to your Aion folder ( i.e. C:/Program Files/NCSoft/Aion/ ) and checking for the existance of a file named 'Aion_Main_1.5.1.15To1.9.0.0.ncpatch'. If it is complete, the file should be approximately 3.2gb.
- The patch will automatically apply itself to your game installation once the servers are back online after the maintenance preiod on Wednesday, 2nd June.
What is 1.9 again?
Patch 1.9 brings dozens of new features. If you haven't read about these yet, you can get up to speed by reading over the full patch notes.

Remodelling you say?
- We are pleased to confirm the rumours regarding Miragent/Fenris, Daevonic and Anuhart armor to be absolutely true! All of these will be remodellable in 1.9!
- What you may not have heard is this: Costume and Event headgear is also going to be totally remodellable! (sunflower helmet here I come)
New wings?
Be sure to check out all the new wings styles coming in 1.9. I'm betting there will be a rush on the wings merchants this week as everyone pimps out their feathers
Improved Group Finding?
That's right, there is much improved functionality for finding and recruiting groups with 1.9!
By clicking (Shift + V) you'll find a new LFG window to:
- Put up a message for yourself, or your group, listing what you're looking for.
- Browse other people's messages in a single location (as opposed to reading spam).
- Search for specific keywords (i.e. search for anyone with 'Fire Temple' in their message).
- Limit your search by class and or level.
This welcome feature should make finding a team MUCH less time consuming, meaning more time to enjoy the increased loot-rates in many instances!
